From the start of construction to the opening of the Moselland Museum in August 2016

The groundbreaking ceremony took place on August 28, 2015 and construction work could begin. Nothing stood in the way of the “good old days” museum previously planned by the architecture firm Walter Andre in Ernst. The building plans had been approved so far and a preliminary building permit had been issued.

After 15 months of completion, the museum was officially opened at the beginning of 2017. On four floors - with a total of 1,600 square meters of exhibition space - visitors can now experience a special kind of nostalgia, the "good old days" of the 1960s, wine growing and village life on the Moselle.
